Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Luminosity Oracle website (luminosityoracle.com and www.luminosityoracle.com) and the Luminosity Oracle Android app, package net.luminositystudios.oracle. It is the privacy policy URL for that app. The service is operated by Luminosity Studios LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Contact support@luminositystudios.net.

What this is

Luminosity Oracle is a tarot table, an altar guide, and a private reading journal. Readings and guides are for personal reflection, mindfulness, and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Information we store

• Account details you give us: email address, display name, handle, and a salted password hash.
• Journal content you save: spread, cards, intention, notes, tags, moon phase, altar crystals, and any smoke-cleansing choice.
• Practice details: goals, streaks derived from your saved readings, and reminder settings you create, including a calendar file you download yourself.
• Friend connections and the readings you choose to share.
• Deck theme suggestions you send.
• A sign-in cookie that remembers your session.

Guest settings and unsaved drafts can stay in your browser’s local storage. Those drafts are not sent to us until you save while signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, show your journal, calculate a moon phase for a saved reading, connect you with friends you choose, and answer mail sent to support@luminositystudios.net. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Who can see a reading

A saved reading is private. If you share it with accepted friends, those friends can read it until you revoke the share. People who are not signed in cannot open your journal.

Cookies

The site sets one HttpOnly cookie, lo_sid, so you can stay signed in. It is not an advertising cookie. The Android app uses the same website, so the same cookie applies inside the app.

How long we keep it

We keep account and journal information while your account is open. Password reset links expire after a short time. When you delete your account, we delete the Oracle journal, goals, reminders, friendships, settings, and sessions tied to it.

Delete your account

You can delete your account in the app or on the website: sign in, open Journal, and choose Delete account. Confirm with your password. You may instead email support@luminositystudios.net from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will remove the Luminosity Oracle records listed above.

If you signed in with a shared Luminosity Studios account, deleting Luminosity Oracle removes your Oracle journal and related Oracle records. Email support@luminositystudios.net if you also want the studio-wide sign-in removed.

Children

Luminosity Oracle is a general-audience reflection tool. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has an account, email support@luminositystudios.net and we will delete it.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes. The session cookie is marked HttpOnly. No method of storage is perfect; please use a password you do not reuse, and write to us if you think someone else has signed in as you.

Where information is handled

Luminosity Studios LLC operates from the United States. If you use the website or the Android app from somewhere else, your information is handled in the United States.

Changes

When this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version lives at https://www.luminosityoracle.com/privacy.
